Should they go out before the fronts?? I have some play in the rear but very tight in the front. I have already had the a arms fixed at the dealer. I have about 2100 on the 05 750 should it be time for new bearings?? I am thinking about using the All Balls bearings in the rear but holding out on the fronts right now. I am a rookie so is it very hard to change the bearings in the rear??

Well...may be time. Remember that the rears are always under load where the fronts are just turning until you use 4wd, then it will drive the balls into the fronts of the races while applying power...so sure, the backs can ware faster. 2100 miles though...I have 1800 and am always spinning my backs. Guess mine will be due too soon. Dam.

I understand the half-shafts have the same high tork as the fronts, so yes, might be a chalenge

your going to have to press the bearing out of the hub. but its fairly easy to do.

i have used a vise and socket to press in smaller bearings like a arm and what not. but i have never tried to do it with wheel bearings, because the bearings are quite big, i have always used a small press to get them out. with a press die set. basically you want to press that 3 to 4 mm lip on the outside of the bearing do not push on the inside as it will wreck the bearing

x2. Only apply pressure in the outer race, and it has to be straight and even. Sometimes freezing the bearing and warming the housing first helps, but have to do it fast when you start.

I would go with All balls. Lots of people used them with better results then OEM that I hear. I would wait on the fronts. They could be good for a lot longer yet. Man I hope so. Hate to think we only get a few K out of these.

The ASRs are said to be the best. No one who has them are reporting any problems. These or the Stainless Steel style, which you can get from ATV Trick Stuff who is a sponsor here, are the way to go. Replace both rods and ends because you will bend the stock rods someday. I didn't bend mine, but did ware out the inner ends in about 1200 miles so I took everyone's advice and did both.
