My first time posting and new to forums in general. Our 2007 750 Brute has started running rich. To date have checked valve clearance (found to be ok), replaced spark plugs and air filter. I assume the next step is to go into carbs, but don't know what I should be looking for. Should mention I'm a retired auto mechanic and not afraid of carbs. I've seen posts referring to a dynajet kit. Looks to me like this kit just makes it richer - am I right? I ride at about 1200 ft altitude during the cooler months here in AZ and 7000 ft during the summer. Currently the machine is surging at about 15 mph and popping out the tailpipe. Pulling choke just makes it worse. Smooths out a little at 25mph and is scarry fast at full throttle. Bought it used, so don't know what has been done for sure although there is a hand written note in back of owners manual stating dynojet kit installed in 2014. Unknown if still there. Sorry about the long post, just need a little hand holding. BTW I also have the factory service manual for this machine. Thanks in advance for any info.
