Havent had the bike but for a week and already my 3rd post about it. 08 brute force 750. Was riding it today, got to the back of my 20 acres, shut it off for about 10 mins. Started heading back, made it 2/3 the way back and the headlights started flickering, then it just died, lost headlights, dash light, and fuel pump. Starter button does nothing also. So i let it sit for 30 seconds, and she fired up. Rode it another 100ft and lights flickered so i turned them off, but when i turned them back on the bike died. Again with no lights, fuel pump, or start button. Waited again, fired up frove it 100 feet to my shop, left it running. Turned lights off, turned them back on and bike died. Heard a flickering noise from the relay area under the seat in the rear. If i had to guess it would be from the tipover sensor or one of the relays. Let it sit and nothing. Lights worked, but no fuel pump or start button. Then randomly while i had the key on looking at some wiring under the seat i heard the fuel pump prime. She fired up. All this happens when the lights and fans are on. It has an aftermarket oil cooler installed with a temp sensor activated fan. Now i also noticed the previous owner replaced something under the seat with a 25a fuse soldered between 2 wires. I wiggled that and let it run for 5 minutes messing with the light switch, off button, and wiggling various wires under the seat and under the front, including headlight plugs, and it never shut off. But i do not think fans were on. Not 100% if they were or not
