Are those snowmobile trails? It sucks here in new york, we cant ride on the snowmobile trails with quads, they say the wheels tare stuff up. I think sleds with 100+ hp and studs do more damage then a 4x4 will.

No it's not Snowmobile Trail it's ATV winter and four season trail and few kilometer in summer ATV trail !!

Here the snowmobile and ATV are not in the same trail except for a short distance for gaz,hotel and restaurant.

This Nails is the same for Car Tire with a point of carbides for more traction in the ice ,, other nails or screw is prohibited in the trail here!

This nails are installed one by one with a special tool for this !!

I have 144 nails by tires !!

The Studs on the ice WOW it's fantastic control on the ice ,, me i have 144 studs/tires it's a 4 season Studing ,,, for Winter agressive Studing you can have 300 studs/tires !!

Well,, depend the tires tread !!


For Racing on the ice yes it's a excellent idea ,,so much grip with studs !!
