I have changed out the engine on my 2007 Brute force 650 the engine I put in is a 2006 650 The problem is the spline shaft in front spline that goes in the coupling is aprox 4 inches, were as the shaft on the engine I pulled out has a short spline about 1 inch. can anyone help?

Interesting as in 2006 and 2007 both the 650 SRAs and IRSs use the same bevel shaft..the 13107 so..there shouldn't be a difference.
