So been gone for a wile but..... this brute I'd like to strangle. So I believe solenoid shorted and fried fuel pump somehow without blowing fuse. Replaced solenoid but fuel pump had constant draw. Just finished assembling new fuel pump and am about to reinstall. I know it needs 43lbs psi but I dont know the volume of fuel its suppose to push. Any help would be appreciated. Dont roast me about my laziness lol

Nvm, how is it you fry a fuel pump and obtain a knock idk if its valve knock or piston knock irregardless I'm tired of these Chinese knockoffs ATV's
A Kawasaki KVF750 isn't a Chinese ATV. Pure Japanese...unlike the 300 which is Taiwanese. And the fuel pump problem can't produce a mechanical knock unless it let something get by to the injectors that caused some leaning...which makes some per-ditnation knock. Not sure how a starter solenoid problem can effect the fuel pump either. I wouldn't worry about volume right now..just make sure it's making the correct pressure..no less. I have a manual if you need one.

I was making fun of kawasaki I know there not Chinese knock offs but in my current opinion there the same. I'm just agitated. Idk how I got knock from solenoid popping, and fuel pump getting a constant draw I think fuel pump is 53 psi it's a quantum fuel pump like what I had in before. I know oem is 48 psi but I figured with my 5/16fuel hose(previous owner light on fire burned up fuel line) since it was a little wider pressure would even out.

A lot of people talk about how important it is to have the correct pressure at the injector..mostly they say the pulse-width is only slightly variable with close loop systems and lower pressure causes it to get less fuel...but wouldn't having too much pressure make it get too much? On pre-2015 BFs they are not closed-looped systems so the mapping is what it gets so..it really should...IMO. :)
