I have a 2007 Brute force 650i. The fuel level on the screen doesn't work, it will just show 1 bar sometimes 2. The check valve is broken so i bought a new one i haven't put it on yet to see if that is somehow the problem but i couldn't see why it would be. Has anyone ever had this problem before? What part would break to cause this or is it related to the electrical?
The float sending unit in the tank. Pull it out, leave the wires on it and with the key on move it up and down and watch the gauge. A that bouncing around they do go bad...once in a while.
Thanks. Would the sending unit not working have anything to do with the way the quad runs in some way. I couldn't get it started one day, i had the tank cap off, and there was what looked like a quarter tank in it. It wouldn't start so i decided to put some more gas in and it started right away. I've had it running with less gas than that before.
