I just purchased a 2018 BF 750 with 250 miles on it (so all but brand new) and went on my first trail ride yesterday. Everything worked perfectly though I do have two observations.
1. there was a lot of whistle type noise almost like a singing bearing I am assuming that's the CVT? and
2. My left leg got very hot from the engine, is there any remedy for this?
Other than that, awesome machine.

Usually the noise is from the transmission as the gears are a straight cut and are some of the toughest in the business but..the design can be a bit noisy. A better quality synthetic oil such as Castrol Power 1 is known to reduce that transmission noise. As for the heat- you can wrap the exhaust pipe from the bend to the muffler or wear better riding attire...ie no shorts and sandels...lol
