Yeh Pete I'm just waiting on a reply from my riding buddy to see if he's fit to ride this Sunday, he's still sore from crashing his KTM, the report will be front and back because I still haven't reported what the arms are like because my bearings broke aranoid:
I didn't find anyone to powdercoat Russ so I've used smooth spray Hammerite, I'm going to see how it holds up to the trails, if its no good I'm going to strip the bits off and send them over there.
Andy, if you run into trouble with your Hammerite finish, try Shane at ATV World in Leeds. He knows a local company that specialise in it. ATV World use them quite a bit. I'm having my ITP Bajas powder coated black.
They are a major Yamaha dealer so know their stuff relating to them but they assure me that they have enough experience of the KFX700. They're fitting my ASR's, Elkas, Team Firestick axle and new wheels. I work too hard in my day job to find the time to do major jobs on the KFX so I've given it to them to do. Anyway, if you're only after powder coating that don't matter!
