Please Help. I took it out because the atv was stuck in 4wd. I did my motor resistance checks and everything looked good I put the actuator back in and this happened. Any ideas?

Well..now you will be buying some parts. That block for one. Then the coupler/slide...that's the parts it slides into. And as you will also be needed to remove the coupling, you will need a new main seal as well as small seal...at least. If the coupling sits sloppy on the pinion might as well just get a new one. Also better get a service manual so you can do all this right. Next time you install the actuator make sure that: 1- the actuator is in the 2wd position and that the slide is also in the 2wd position and..that the block is facing the correct direction. Hope the actuator still works...cause they aren't cheap. Oh and change the oil...all that ground-up metal flowing around in there isn't good to have.
