<div align='center'> </div> The Kawasaki KFX-700 or otherwise known as the V-Force in its stock form is quite an impressive powerhouse of an ATV. It’s CVT transmission and 700 CC V-Twin power plant driving the straight rear axle sets it in a class all by itself making it an absolute blast to ride. I decided it was time to take this machine to the next level of performance by adding an aftermarket exhaust system for the hybrid beast. While there are many systems to choose from I have always heard great things in regards to the performance as well as sound of the Muzzy exhaust system. Since we are intending to do some engine upgrades later on our project KFX-700, Muzzy's recommended us to go with the Muzzy Pro full system.

<div align='center'> </div> <div align='left'> First Impression

The arrival of the Muzzy Pro revealed a beautifully polished can and stainless steel header pipes. The KFX-700 Muzzy Pro is a 2 into 1 system with equal length header pipes. All welds and fasteners are top quality. The style and quality design of the Muzzy Pro exhaust definitely sets a standard for those who demand top quality construction and maximum performance. It is evident that Muzzy’s takes great pride in the products they sell. </div>

Installation </div>
<div align='left'> The installation of the Muzzy Pro is relatively simple and straightforward. One note to add is to leave all fasteners somewhat loose while installing to allow for proper fit and alignment. All sections fit together very easily. Once all of the parts are in place and properly aligned all of the bolts can be securely tightened. From the removal of the stock exhaust, total installation time took just a little over 2 hours. Like any exhaust modification, it is necessary that you re-jet your carburetors in order to get the most power and to prevent engine damage. We also took this chance to increase airflow and installed a more free flowing air filter. The polished canister of the Muzzy Pro unquestionably gives the V-Force a custom look over the stock exhaust system. </div>

Trail Report

With the exhaust installed and confident that the carburetors were properly jetted, it was time to fire up the V-force. We quickly wiped off the exhaust header pipe and can with denatured alcohol to prevent any staining from grease or fingerprints and prepared for the first firing of the V-Force with the Muzzy Pro. As the engine roared to life, there is certainly a noticeable change in sound over the stock V-force exhaust. But the sound was not overbearingly loud. Deeper, throatier and snappier are the best descriptions of the Muzzy Pro. The Muzzy Pro sounded very good! Happy with the installation, was time to test it on the trail. Horsepower gains are still pending while we wait for our Vericom dyno to arrive, I have to admit that unlike most exhaust modifications, there is a noticeable gain in the “seat of the pants” feel of this machine. Snappier throttle response and better low end torque are the most noticeable areas of gain so far with the Muzzy Pro. We have not had the opportunity yet to find an area in West Virginia where we can legally and safely achieve a top speed report with V-Force and Muzzy Pro combination; but don’t worry, we will. One item to note is in the area of the bend near the collector tube gets very warm. I didn’t have any issues with this while wearing riding boots, but it is noticeable and could possibly cause damage to your riding boots or pants if precautions aren’t taken.

Conclusion

When riding with a group, the V-Force definitely stands out with its distinctive sound. Quality engineering and workmanship is obvious in every inch of the Muzzy Pro exhaust system. The Muzzy Pro Exhaust system will definitely awaken the V-force and cause all your riding buddies to take notice to the “new kid” on the block. If you are looking for an exhaust system that will not only add more horsepower and torque to your V-Force, but also give it great looks and a “hot rod” sound take a very close look at the Muzzy Pro Exhaust System.
