carb help

1994 bayou 400,,, engine runs good high rpm coughs real bad at idle..I disassembled carb,cleaned all ports,holes everything with berrymans chock/carb cleaner. put new kit in it now it idles alittle better but will not runat high rpm unless choke is closed.what s wrong?

Welcome. Check float level & fuel supply. Then check for vacuum leaks and check the valve lash. Might check compression while at it. Berrymans does a good job so I can't imagine anything left in any port although kinda sounds like a problem with the pilot circut.

well I have taken car apart 5-6 times now. Spray berrymans thru all ports,holes then blow compressed air thru all. gotta be clear.I checked voltage at battery while running,put another new spark plug, made sure all air duct is tight ,intake side checked for vacume leak,


going to adjust valves next....

still no luck with this thing.seems to be a lot of condensation dripping from crankcase vent,about 2 table spoons full after 2 hours
