2008 Kawasaki 750 brute force front end popping

Hey guys my brute force 4wd acts up a bit it engages fine and works fine but when under load or torque it makes a horrendous popping any help is appreciated thanks

They will do this when the dogs of the coupler either don't fully engage or they have been rounded off from..not being seated. It can also be a bad CV joint. Just check them for play to confirm or eliminate them.
