Tire sizes

I just bought a 750 Brute Force and it came with GBC Dirt Tamer tires. But it has 27x12.00-12 on the rear and 27x9.00-12 on the front. The front tires are 2 inches taller than the rear tires. Is that OK? Seems to me that it will cause problems when in 4x4.
Thanks
Jack

If it is actually 2"s taller, no, it is not OK. What width wheels does it have? Or are they the stock wheels....well they should be aftermarkets cause those 12-wides on the back should rub on stock wheels without spacers. Also, how are you measuring them? Need to me off the machine or measure from front to mack, not top to floor.

I took the front and back tires off and stood them up against each other. The 9.00 is taller than the 12.00

Any size difference will make the axles and prop shafts turn at different speeds. You can get away with it up to about 1/2" but even with that never have it in 4wd on pavement unless you want a broken front diff case.
