Exclamation Voyage?

What should the voltage be on 2010 brute 750 when running? I think it would be 14+. My brute is hard to start and doesnít run well itís barely showing 13 volts at idle. I think I may have a rectifier/stator issue. Any help would be appreciated

Yeah..above 14 volts...as much as 14.7 but mostly 14.4. Probably a winding/coil on the stator going. Lots of those been happening. You can test them.

I think it might actually be the battery. Even though the battery is fairly new, it was a cheap battery. The bike ran perfect when I put it up for winter but seems to be a problem this spring (has not really been rode since late fall). I looked in the manual and it says I should have 12.8 volts on the battery to consider it charged. I have less than 12 and only 12.8 - 13.2 at idle. I'm gonna give the battery a good slow charge and see if that helps. Then I'll move on to testing the stator and rectifier

I fixed the voltage issue. it had a loose +battery connection. 14.4v at idle now. it's still not running 100%. it randomly "bogs" down with limited power. I'm going to change the air filter, spark plugs, and adjust the valves but I don't think any of these things would cause a random lose of power...... i'm thinking maybe fuel pump issues. Anyone with any thoughts about it???

I'd dump some Seafoam gas additive in the fuel tank, and see if it clears up.
