Brute force 750 2008 the 30ap fuse keeps getting hot the CDI well go out if it gets to hot
Welcome. Just for clarification, the carb models, 2005-2007 had CDIs. The EFI models starting in 2008 had ECUs or ECMs. Both had a 30 amp main fuse before the distribution section in the fuse box. If that fuse and holder section is getting hot and not blowing the fuse...or any other fuse, remove the fuse box itself, turn it on it's side and remove the connectors underneath. You will find one is very corroded...and it probably will be one to that fuse. Otherwise check the fuse connection itself for good fit...it can be loose if it has been hot.
