SS ATV Plus & EHS Racing have teamed up. EHS Racing is now offering the Mudders air box cover. Spread the word, these things are awesome. They look great, unlike "plumbing pipe" intake snorkels. Yeah, they cost more than abs pipe, but it's worth it.
Check them out today!

I'll second Bill's comments! Simple ideas that work well are the best. This idea is so much cleaner, and simpler, than routing snorkles around the frame and through the plastic. Great job.

Ok I am not snorkled as I do not ride where there is a need too. With that said. Would this benefit my bike by adding just the lid cover. I have stock pipe and no engine mods.

One day you are going to spash thru some water & suck steam into your intake..............the motor dies. With this mod. that will not happen.

I guess I asked the question wrong. Will this mod improve anything other than what you just said with a stock machine? I would think not enought to justify cost? Am I wrong?

You will not see any performance gains. I wish I would have came up with this design 3 yrs. ago when I got my 06 Brute. I can't tell you how many times my motor died from sucking steam.

Your filter will get less dust in it as well so you should have cleaner air in general going into and being filtered by the outerwares
trust me worth every penny, not only the steam issue but more importantly is the splash.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mudlift @ Nov 21 2008, 08:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div> Love that one. Right now my buds hit the water like dogs after a frizbee, but me...well after a few stream-sucking issues, I wade in like a baby in cold water...well, mabe a little faster, but you get the point. Not at all like a Brute Force should be...up front and full-on. I would say its worth the money. Splash should never be an issue with any quad.
