My insurance company SUX! Even tho my agent said they would cover everything, the claims office is offering me $6754.00 for my Brute that I had $15,600.00 invested in. I have all of the recipts to prove it. I might be gittin a lawyer.

Why is your Insurance company even involved with it? The Dealership was responsible for the bike while in their possession! Its their Insurance company who should be taking care of you and they should also be looking at copies of your receipts to prove what you had invested! I managed a parts room for a local Tractor dealership right out of high school and starting college and we had a customer bring in a really big 140hp Tree Farmer skidder and trailer. If you haven't seen one, it’s a huge center pivot 4WD machine that picks up huge trees at the base and cuts them off at the stump. It can then carry them in the upright position to where they will lay them on a trailer. Pretty spooky to be in a deer stand and see a tree marching through the woods from 1/2 mile off! Gist of the story, for some reason the skidder caught on fire during the night before any work had even been done on the skidder. It was still on the trailer in the back of the lot! Burnt the whole thing to the ground along with the trailer it was setting on! The dealership had to pay for the damage. It was a couple hundred thousand dollars... It was under the dealerships care!!!! You either need a lawyer or go back and ask the dealership what they are going to do about it???

Well the dealer said when I signed the work order, that's when I released them from being responsible for theft. I agree, B.S. My insurance agent said they would cover the bike & take can of the rest. Anyhow I talked to the regional claims manager this afternoon. She was unaware that they were dealing with a highly customized ATV. I'm emailing her pix at her request. She says they have never dealt with an ATV of this type. She told me that she would see to it that this claim is reviewed & I would get a fair settlement. I'll update Y'all tomorrow. Thanks for the support guys.

Yeah, Good Luck! Let us know how it comes out and who your insurance company is! If they still do you wrong we can give them some bad press. I have mine insured through State Farm. I also would still bet the dealership is hoping you continue with your present course, any decent lawyer would probably only have to write one letter to them and the gig would fall through. Keep it in mind. I have had to use one ( lawyer ) a few times over the years and a set down with one and one to two letters sent out usually gets the issue taken care of and only cost $250 to $500. Not that much if it nets you a couple extra thousand back on your bike and that also keeps your Insurance rates from going out the roof for making the claim...Good Luck!
