Default Don't want to wheelie off the line!!!

Anyone have any ideas besides wheelie bars? Starting line is on a hill to start and the race is up hill from there. If I shift my weight too far forward it just spins. Normal seating position or back further and crouched down it justs want to come back over on me when it hooks. Suspension is in the softest setting both front and rear. Stock tires F & R with 4 pounds of air all the way around. Dynatek and clutching - otherwise stock. Thanks.

Try stiffening up your rear suspension. This will not allow as much weight to transfer to the rear. The downside is it will want to spin more readily.
Also you could try different primary springs.
Use a ratchet strap to pull your suspension down and squat the machine. This will lower your center of gravity and help keep the front down and produce forward bite.
Basically, do not be affraid to try different things. But, do them one at a time until you understand how each one affects your launch. Then you can try conbinations.

change your suspension so that its stiff, or like boloii said, squat it down using ratchet straps, or just lean right down on it, so that your heads almost on the pod, trying to keep as much weight as low as you can.

I thought a stiffer suspension made it easier to wheelie .... If the suspension is softer there will be more compression in it ... taking the force of it. Maybe I am wrong.....

It is all about weight transfer. Softer allows the weight to transfer to rear. Think of it like a pan of water. Pull it flat and the water goes to the back. Now tip it up in the front as you pull it and even more of the water goes to the rear.

Softer rear suspension causes bigger wheelies. Softer front suspension also allows the front to lift off nicely with the weight transfer. This is why drag racers will put a solid strut in place of their shocks.
