I modified it to fit and put it back on. Keeps the mudd out that way.
Real easy to do.

OK cool thanks for the info. So for a premium price I got a radiator that doesn't quite fit into the factory mounts and I also have to leave pieces off. It sounds like they need to do some re-engineering on their Brute radiator. I know the rad is awsome, had one on the Grizz and it fit so good you could not even tell that I had it one there but their brute mounting system leaves a lot to be desired.

Greg G...I've only ever seen pictures of one that's been installed and I can't say that I was overly impressed by what I saw either, e.g.the rad appears to be supported by brackets that are too long, when the same space would have been better suited for more cooling area. The rad also appears to be too wide and requires you to remove the protective plastic that otherwise surrounds the top and sides of the rad.
I would really like to add a triple flow and would be willing to pay the price, but I want it to fit properly and not appear as though it was intended for something other than my brute. Just my 2 cents.

Just my 2-cents. I have a friend at a radiator shop says he can build me a 4-core exactly like the stock single...same mount points...for about 200. It will be black not aluminum but it will cool a v6 no problem. When its time, that's what I'm doing.

If you actually look at the pics the HL rad has larger surface area its wider then taller. You look at the opening that actually gets the air to the rad and actually cool it is hit more directly. You don't need that black piece it just gets in the way when you clean it.So the grizz rad may fit the stock area better but the Brute works better in the stock placement. It is pricey but worth it
