I have been very happy with mine...but why? Your Gibson seems to be working fine.

I still get I believe too much Steering Bump and I don't dare turn it to either Number 6 or 7 setting or I wouldn't be albe to turn the handlebars very easy. As it is, I am using setting #4/ 95% of the time and #5/5% for Forest Service Roads like FR144.
Plus, I would really be able to see if the $$$ involved w/the Precision is worth the investment or just all "Hype".

He traded in for a 2/seater 800, better for him this way, since he does ride 95% of the time w/the wife but a Canned-hamm.. I can think of two other brands I would buy for a 2/seater if I was in the Market for one.

You are welcome to try mine and see but the bigger tires do make it feel different then it would with yours (and it would give me a chance to see if an injected Brute is realy that much more powerfull...hehe) . Like any stabilizer, its the fast & hard impacts that get cought more then the slower bumps. My friend with the KQ thought it would take all bump-steer out as he has a bumb shoulder and was disapointed it didn't act like power steering. The Precession does have much more range of adjustments then most others but don't get a damper confused with power steering. Weather its a stick or rotory, its hydrolics through valving.

With the Gibson the slower steering bumps seem more of the problem but if I have it on the #7 position adjustment it does work great but is more tiresome on the tight trails. I've had it before on #7 w/the 08BF while racing w/Elkbow on FR144/315 last year, steering was tight, no wandering at all but the tires I was using helped allot too. Even with my Gibson, the steering bump I get now is nothing like w/o a stabilizer, at least the handlebars don't get ripped out of my hands.
I may have to go back to using #5 on these trails here instead of #4 that I havebeen using lately.

Power wise, you may not feel it w/my FI as I haven't done any clutch mods at all, everything is stock. The Tires are 26" size and of course the Shock upgrade but those were put on for the ride and handling improvements.
