Looks like a fun ride but i'm not impressed with the camera at all. I been looking in to HD cameras and cannot decide. Yours seems to have a slight blurring and or the refresh rate is not fast enough in hd mode. the picture quality is decent though

That's more similar to the kind of trails I have here. Except here it is steeper and more forest growth.

Its got a coating of dust on the lense guard. Mine does the same thing. Have to stop and clear it all the time. You would think they could make the lense guard with a negitively charged coating to stop the attraction of dust.
Mine will look good until it gets dusty...and I was trailing on this ride so it got dusty fast.

I got some shots of some steep rocky stuff on mountain sides on this trip I'll post. Sorry man I didn't do any reverse-angles shots this time.

NMKR, I'll remember the cleaning of the Lens over this coming Weekend.
We do have steep climbs, the Water Canyon Vid in the last 4 minutes is steep, it just doesn't show it in the Vid.
This Vid with the Bear sign has a Spring running srong, the Water tank was installed by the Forest Service for Cattle and Wildlife, so no surprises to see the Bear Sign there. Very seldom anymore we will see a Mountain Lion, they don't like Humans at all, so the conditions have to be perfect to come up on a Big Lion.
These Forest are too thick for my liking, bring on massive super hot WildFires, thankfully we had a Wet Winter here, to find Snow still in Late May is a good thing, even if it is at 9000+ ft Elevation's. The Springs are running full and the Snow melt is having a few other Streams running strong, in the past recent May's, these Streams were dry.
I'll be Posting "New Trail Vid" this morning, while I am in Santa Fe-since it takes about 4-5 hours for the Vid to upload to the VholdR Homepage.

I know the area. I would stop recording then start again, that is why I came up with 10 Videos, lol.
New Trail Vid is next, it is a longer one and has the Climb up the side of the Canyon I didn't edit too much out of it, then I'll get the beginning of the ride posted in Paliza Canyon going through the stream section, this has been edited to make it shorter. The Last Vid I'll post will be the climb up to the Fire Lookout at what Elevation did you say? Sure was Chilly up there at the Lookout..
The other Trails I didn't take you on will be my next project to Vid, 4 are pass Kitty Lake, the other 2 are above our Campsite.

Well I guess I'll see what you post then see if I have something you don't. As you know, I about just turned mine on and left it running most of the time so I have about 5 hours of stuff in like 4 files. All too big to upload without trimming-down.

Last year a forest fire came within 1/2 mile of my house. It really worried me. The Rangers did a good job of controlling it.
We supposedly have black bear and mountain lions here too. Although I personally haven't seen either. I'm not sure what I would do if I came across either on the trail. I guess I'd find out just how fast the Brute really is...lol I did come across a bull elk once during rut season. He didn't charge me or anything but he was angry and and I panicked and backed over a hill sticking the quad in the mud. Luckily the elk went on his way.
