Looks like a sweet place to ride. i wanna get out and do somemore traveling and meet up with some people to ride.
How do you like the tires? I wanna go with a radial like a xtr or bighorm myself but i wanna continue to run a 27x10 all the way around or a 28x10 all the way around. There really arent many good options for use except the swamplites which i have. They are a good tire but i would like to be a little lighter and maybe have a little better ride and have more of a all terrain tread. I would buy these again if no other options come about but I think maybe next time I'll do a 28. A 28 would be my limit for trail riding and i like to run skinnies

I like the tires for what I do. The 11s are about the limit for all-the-way-around application IMO. I wend back down from 27s to 26s because of what others were saying about tight and faster trail riding. I found that they were right, its better and quicker reacting then a taller tire. If you do lots of trails, you might not like the 28s. I was looking forward to less weight too, and with the 10s I orderd I would have been less then with the XTRs but with these 11s, I am actualy 4lbs heavier overall with the rims. In any case, I am sold on radials. I will never buy anything else for the Brute. GBC makes some pretty good tires too. I was considering the grim reaper.

I may have to do a little more research. I like the 27's and 28"s cause i like the lift w/o having a lift. I'm clutched perfect to turn them to. Maybe I might have to do a small lift and bump down to a 26"

My 27s were OK on the trails, I just wanted to get the CG point down a little so I could keep up the the sport quads a little better. I was thinking of a lowering kit now that I have these new skid plates, but with these new tires and rims all the same, its very hard to get it up on two side wheels so maybe I won't. I do need the clearance too on rocks.

There are a lot of rocks in my area. The power lines which we run to alot of trails are bad with the rocks...skids and a lift is a must

And a good 8-ply rated tire too sounds like
