Did you see that waterproof case they have now? I think I will get that for those wet rides up....BY your place....lol. Seems like its always ...or I always get cought in rain at Sipipu.

Well at least with the VholdR set-up it will be easier to do the vid's, the other system that I have 4sale works great, nice Vid's and sound but just too many wires to deal with. I found out that that set-up worked best if I was using my tank bag.
The lowest price I have found on the waterproof case for the VholdR has been $44, have you seen it anywhere Lower in price? I know they are not out yet, but they are taking orders for them.

This is where I got mine. Looks like the case is 39.99. Not a bad investment for protection from all the water, rain, snow and dust we have...I think.

I have the 16GB card & another battery already on order.
The 1080P I did buy off of Ebay, brand new @ $234 shipped.

Great price. I took one of their packages with a 8gb card, charger, extra battery, mounts...ect for I think 344 at the time.
The mic is sencitive to loud noises and wind. I put a piece of thin scotch tape over the mic hole. That fixed the wind sound from going fast but not enough for the loud bike noise. I am thinking of something a little thicker with some padding...like a bandaid. Got to keep it from distorting somehow.

Is your Mic turned down to the lowest setting?
If I notice the wind noise, I'll fasten on a make shift mic sock over the opening for the mic- see if that fixes it.
I also looked at a Drift X170 but the Vid's had way too much wind noise and the super price I got on the 1080P HD, I went with it. Should be here no later than Saturday.

Maybe the 1080p has an adjustable mic, but the 720 doesn't. Its very sencitive so I think I can mask it even more and still get good sound.
You are going to like having all -in-one. I even use mine other places like the grandkids birthday parties and such. Don't need to wear it...just hold and point. The HD does make very large files though.

Once again, Great Video Vaughan. Still a lot of snow out there. I liked the slow-mo cuts!
