Me and one my buddy firefighters taught a couple yer fella ca-nada's how to drink at Texas A & M during Fire School about 7-8 years ago! Purty cool fella's in class and we got ta talkin bout goin out to drink that night. They was doing all this talkin bout how they was the top of da class in drinkin canucks and all. I never met no canuck so hell I figured the boys could drink. We went to country bar called Rodeo 2000 and we started takin turns buyin pictures of beer and playin pool. Couple hours later I noticed they wadn't lookin too good, kinda slumpin at the table and had gotten quiet. Heck I wuz just firin up and wuz already two pitures ahead of em. I figuerd to finish em off and went and bought a plater of tequila shots. It wuz a round tray built up like a chandalier. Their wuz about 25 shots on the bottom layer, like 16 on the next, 10 on the next and so on up to the last one at the top. I think the charge wuz like $250 on my credit card the next month, just for that. My total bar bill wuz like $500 for tha nite and I didn't buy everything. Anyway they wuz scard of the shots but I kinda shamed em purty good and wanted to see the top drinkin canucks. We started 1 fer 1 for about 7 rds and then I started doin 2 for 1. When they quit and begged off there was still 6 left on the tray so I slammed em back to back till all wuz upside down. Needless to say I wuz buzzin purty good but didnt want em to know it. But I wuz still the most able to drive. Got us all back to the hotel at 3:30 am and we had to be back on tha firefield at 7 am. I almost died laughin when tha boys walkin in that mornin they were pitiful lookin like warmed up death. I wuz still drunk wuz the only reason I didn't look so bad. I give em hell for first couple hrs. But they got their revenge. bout 10am we had already fought like 5 fires and it wuz middle of summer. I wuz burnt up and feelin like somebody pleze shoot me. They were kinda startin to come around a bit. Then we had to go fight the fire on the ship. Its really a man killer and I had fought it a couple yrs earlier so I wuz dreadin it. You are on a huge ship and you have to go down a flight of stairs into the engine room with a ton of fire and smoke in it. Only one way in and when you open the hatch all the heat and smoke is coming rite up the stairs at U. You have to fight ur way in to it and make it all the way to the back of the big diesel motors and block in the fuel valves. I wus stuck on the nozzle and did great all the way thru it. When we got done and backed out everybody wuz comin out of their SCBA's and coming out of their gear to try to cool off. I made it almost to tha group when out of nowhere I puked in my mask. If you have never had a SCBA mask strapped to ur head U really can't understand my perdicument. I still got on big thick fire gloves, Helmet and nomex hood over my mask that has 4 straps pulled down really tight to my head where it can't come off until you are ready to take it off. I wuz in trouble. When I puked I don't mean a little bit in the back of my throat. I mean I filled the mask and it wuz squirtin out the sides like 4 feet in all directions. I couldn't see out and nobody could see in. Everybody wuz runnin tryin to get away from the puke spray. Now when U puke Its a automatic reaction to suck right back in, cept waddin nuthin to suck but puke. So the cycle started again. Bout third cycle, I'm down on the ground floppin and pullin and tryin not to die, Really tryin not to die! finally managed to get my mask ripped off and finished a couple more cycles. They had a scrub tub of iodine and soap to wash your mask after the fires and then a clean water tub to rinse them in. I crawled over and just stuck my puke coverd head in the soap first and then the rinse second which really pissed off tha Insturctor cause he had to get more tubs fixed up cause of the puke floatin in em. At grad later that week when I got called up. He announed to da crowd that I had done some shit he ain't never seen, Nar did he ever want to again. The Canucks loved me, They said I wuz a honary Ca-nadie from that moment on. I luved those guys. But they can't drink like us Arkies!!! FACT!!!
