Default Finally a B.F owner

just got an 06 750 with 300 miles. i can't believe its true i have finally left the undependible and crappy world of the popo. no more getting pulled out by my wifes grizzly.

now on to the important stuff. what mods to do first? i have a heelclicker clutch kit that i need to install. most of my riding is trails with a lil mud waiting on the 27.5 pitbull rockers. not sure if i need a lift and if i do how bad does the lift effect camber? my old popo 500 had a lift and the camber was horrible. i was thinking about either a muzzy or HMF exhuast. i'm not looking for super topend power more of a slow speed rockcrawler type so looking for lots of torque. Just what a rubber belt wants.

been thinking about doing the teryx mid drive gears. not sure how much speed i would be giving up but 4 or 5 mph i could deal with.

Well chromejunks, welcome to Brute Ownership (some call it "the dark side") and to the site. I have had my 06 sense November of 05. Got 2300 miles on it now and no major problems. There is so much out there for our machines it hard to know where to start...or STOP..hehe. Sounds like you have the clutch and tires worked out pretty well. If I wasn't going for high speed but more low tork, I might be attracted to the HMF over the full muzzy. The Brutes are OK with the 2" lift kits and won't effect camber much at all, although I am not sure you want all the height rockrawling. I run 27" XTRs on 14" rims and still have a little room left so you might be OK. I'm not familiar with teryx mid drive gear setup, but maybe some else here is.

There's a ton of posts and how toos, and reviews here on about every aspect of Brutes...after all...we are all Brute-addics here.

Again, welcome. And Happy Holidays !
