I'm thinking 383 stroker with the weiand supercharger and carburated wich is suprisingly cheap and puts out big power. Would like to keep vortec heads and go from standard to automatic but keeping the AC is a must making cam choice and pulley selection a nightmare stumping my most mechanicaly inclined friends. If you have any tips or websites to visit then im definitely listening lol. If it makes you feel any bettery I have a 2003 crew cab duramax that i absolutely love.

If you haven't already, look at SuperchargersOnline. Here's a link to the ProCharger brand from their website and for your truck and you can keep your fuel injection system as well.

I have a 97 GMC 2500 4x4 with the 7.4L that I was about 4 months to late in acquiring a Whipple Charger for it. THis truck has now been relegated to hunting/work truck duties due to acquiring my new truck.
