Cut Tire
My son somehow managed to put a very sharp stick thru a rear tire on the '08 (Big Horn 2.0). It left about a 2.5" cut, most likely too large to plug. I guess I'll have to replace it unless someone has a good idea of how to repair it. Any suggestions?

Man...what a stick!! No plugging that one. It for sure will have to be patched on the inside with a HD truck hot patch. They have some cording in them that will resist stuff for a while but sometime...someday...somthing is going through it. Might as well just get a new one I guess.

That's pretty much what I thought too. I just hate replacing one tire! I prefer to do them in sets but the other rear has too much tread left.

another thing to look into is called a section repair. any tire shop that sends truck tires off for retreading will be able to help you out.
