IMO, I think it is priced pretty competitively with the RZR S and maybe even the Teryx Sport. $14,699 gets you an 85hp motor, Fox shocks, Bighorn 2.0 tires, and bead-lock wheels. If you bought a Teryx and wanted to match that, you'd have a lot more than $14,700 invested...same goes for the RZR. One thing about Can-Am, they aren't cheap but you seem to get what you pay for with the accessories and amenities they offer. JMO.
I priced a 2010 Teryx sport with a top and stereo for$12,200 but you are right, by the time you put winch, after market tires and other accessories on it you would have about 14k in most any side by side.

I've been very disappointed with feedback about the Commander. I've spent a decent amount of time on a commander website, and I've read a lot of bad stuff. Of course, there is some good too, but there's enough negative to keep me from wanting one at this point.

A few common complaints I've read:
-very noisy drivetrain
-excessive heat in cab (cup holder will keep your coffee hot all day)
-visco lock is garbage (doesn't engage like it should)
-the computer controlled throttle cuts power when it senses a loss in traction; this occurs during power-slides and jumps; also has resulted in nose dives because of the loss of rear wheel motion

I'm with you... I think I will wait untill they get it right... Of course, my biggest complaint with Canned Ham is the Visco Lock... I don't like not being able to manually lock in the diff... Of course, that is a Can Am thing, so I doubt it will change any time soon... But it's ok, cause I love my Brute... Oh, what you heard about swamping the brute motors, I don't believe in anymore... I filled my motor up bad at Mudstock this year, and after a few hours of flushing, she hasn't skipped a beat yet... Runs like a sewing machine..
