I don't beat on mine either... It's all stupi stuff breaking that shouldn't. Like the temp light flashing and the bike running hot and there is nothing wrong with it. Bring it in and ofcourse nuttin wrong with it. Now when I ride it's spitting fuel out from under the handlebars all over everything. The thing only has 19 hours on it. I'm getting sick of it cause everytime I try to ride it something else happens.
My last brute the 08 650 I traded for this one cause the carbs were junk on that one. Had is synod and jetted and it still would never start right cold. The choke cable would freeze. I'm sick of kawie. Only bike I have had no issues with is my 700.

I guess you can get a bad one in anything. I'm pretty happy with both my brutes. I've had a few minor problems with the '08. So far the '10 is perfect. I had really considered a side by side before I got the '10 but they really just don't suit my riding needs.

I wanted a sxs before I got the 2nd brute. I dont ride it much and usually end up riding double on it. I may just try to trade it back in to the dealer and finish paying it off and then get the commander.

My '09 Brute hasn't given me any problems, but I bet I baby it more than anyone on this forum. Had it for almost a year and I've got a little over 230 miles on it. It has barely seen the mud and I ride it gently probably 95% of the time. I think after reading a few horror stories about drowning the motor and diffs that grenaded, I'm a little scared to do anything too crazy. Too much $$$ invested to piss it away.
Also wanted to ask if people thought the Commander was overpriced or just too much money in general for a toy. IMO, I think it is priced pretty competitively with the RZR S and maybe even the Teryx Sport. $14,699 gets you an 85hp motor, Fox shocks, Bighorn 2.0 tires, and bead-lock wheels. If you bought a Teryx and wanted to match that, you'd have a lot more than $14,700 invested...same goes for the RZR. One thing about Can-Am, they aren't cheap but you seem to get what you pay for with the accessories and amenities they offer. JMO.

$14k for anything to beat offroad is alot of money but compared to whats out there and what you get I think its a decent price. I never had a can am but I like their machines. I may go can am for the next quad to try. I hope to be in the SxS market in the next yer and the Commander is certaintly my top choice.
