Default What computer are you using?

Currently I'm using a Gateway laptop, and I forget the specs. It has been a great laptop, but it's time for an upgrade. I figured since we all use one, maybe some of you "computer geeks" have some advice. I'm strongly considering the new iMac 27" with the 2.66GHz Intel Core i5, 2560 x 1440 resolution, 4GB memory, 1TB hard drive, 8x double-layer SuperDrive and ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics with 512MB...Most of that is beyond me, so maybe someone can explain it for me... I'm not opposed to getting another laptop either, so all opinions are welcome.

Bought my youngest son a Imac a couple months ago and he loves it. It was loaded up to the max but don't remember all the specs. He's been thrilled. I am still on a Sony Vaio I bought two years ago. Still workin good for me. Don't know enough to help you bro.

I just built a new gaming rig...$2k worth of crap in it.

AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 965 (3.4ghz x4)
ASUS Crosshair III Formula Board
8gig Patriot Viper Ram DDR3 Extreme low latency 1600mhz
Dual ATI Radeon HD5850's
Sound Blaster Fatility
Antec Tru Power 850w modular power supply
2 Western Digital SATA Veloci-Raptor HDD's in RAID 0 (10k rpm 300gig each) 4.2ms avg.seek
Antec twelve hundred full tower case
Samsung 22" widescreen LCD (2ms response time, 1680x1050 native)

Sorry, I gotta get some completed pics, they are all on my phone
It's quite the rig!

Man that looks like one heck of a setup^^^^Too bad I don't know what most of it means. If I tried to build one, I'd be clueless. I just have a PS3, XBOX 360 and Wii for all my gaming. lol.

I just got a good ole HP Compaq laptop I bought at Wal mart this past year. Was a one day deal for 248.00 Nothing special by any means but it is pretty quick and gets the job done for what I need e-mail and internet.
