Aaa this must be good because if you weigh my friends 28" they must weigh 10 kilos at least each(that is 20 pounds)...
It is a big drag for the atv.Did you notice the difference of the stock dunlops with the after market tires?
Huuuge!!!

Well, from what I see, the regular 26x12x12 Big Horns are 30.6 lbs ea and the 26x11x12 Big Horn 2.0s are 25.7 lbs ea. Thats a lot less then these 27x11x14" XTRs at 33.3 lbs ea.
Yeah, I can pick up the whole stack of all four stock tires & rims but can hardly pick up two of these aftermarkets. So more then twice the weight for sure.

I have the original bighorns on my machine. I have the 25's on and they measure at 26.5. A buddy purchased the 2.0's and they are exactly 25". I like myine though, there a little heavier but I can fly through the snow with no problems. The lug is quite a bit smaller on the 2.0's

Might check out what's on the market now. There is a lot of talk about the PitBulls and GBC's. All good. Many are moving away from the bighorns now.....markets are fickle. Still a great tire though.

Yeah, I have been looking at those, along with the Mudwolfs..although the wolfs have the same tread pattern as what i have now. Other sites praise them...You have thoughts on these two ? Also now i realize i need extra ground clearance..Probably been posted before but 27s on a BF650 SRA<-- Stock exempt rims. i have ss106 i think..Will 27s fit ? without scrubbing..I know im going to loose power ..and will probably have to do something about the clutch right ?
Thanks,

Well...Mudwolfs are a Carlisle tire I believe..and I won't buy anything Carlisle. Just a bad experience. Probably an OK tire but not for me. As for the rest, well it will depend on what you want to do mostly.
I would think the 27s should be fine especialy on aftermarket rims. I have 27s ...granted on a 750, but there's no way they can rub. And yeah..you are probably going to want to do spme clutch work. At least a maroon primary and maybe a little stronger secondary. I finaly ended up with a Dalton Violet which is perfect for mine.
