which tire size is overall best?

28" bugs because they are a little bigger that everyones 26 and 27" tires and will be similar weight because they are so light.

Im running 26" XTRs. Since you said that you want to run 14" wheels, get the XTRs in 27" You wont be disapointed

i just got 27in swamp foxes put on and i lost some power, i would go 26 or 25s, i almost went with a 25-10-12 big horn front and rear kinda wish i did. the 25in big horn is the same size as a 26in mudlite or dirt devil

I just ordered 26" swampfox plus. I went with 26" because they have twice the tread depth of the 25", otherwise I would have stayed with standard size to keep gear ratios, clutching the same, and to keep the weight down. My riding is lots of trails and beach sand, and some mud, not too deep, in winter. I decided I dont really need extra clearance of 27 or 28"
