Default 26" ITP Terracross for 12" wheel

Look at a set of 26x9x12 front and 26x11x12 rear tires. Have a few ?'s before I go spending $462 on a set.

1. How deep are the lugs?
2. How much do they weigh?
3. Do they ware fast?
4. How well do they do in the mud, snow, sand?
5. Are these tires really worth $462?
6. Do these tires run true in size?

Any info on these tires will be very helpful. I have been looking at these tires for some time now. Just not sure if I want to fork out that much money for ATV tires yet. I'll be honest the ITP Terracross tire is one sexy looking tire. Lol

Default 26" ITP Terracross for 12" wheel

I have the 25s they run about 3/4 inch shorter than the stock dunflops. The tread is about 3/4 inch deep but they look really impressive. I wish the 26s on 12 inchers were out when I bought mine, I am trying to decide how to pay for a new set so I can put mine on the wife's Grizzly. So far they have done well in all the terrains I have ran them on. They have handled the little mud I have tackled, done lots of rocks (they find traction on anything) and gone over wet logs etc. They did pretty good in the sand and i never got stuck in 4x4 out at StAnthonys. They seem to wear just a little but I have rode a lot of rock and spun them more than I should just playing around on hard surfaces.

Default 26" ITP Terracross for 12" wheel

i have em on my 650I. i put them on in late summer and they are wearing well. not that i put many miles on them , but to and from my hunting spots its all road riding . ( 1/2 ml each way ) not the best for makin your tire last. the only thing i didnt care for is at speed i get some shake over the stock tires/wheels.. other than that their great for trail riding and plowing snow. overall diameter mounted on quad w/5 psi air are 25 3/4" tall , mounted on ITP SS106 wheels

Default 26" ITP Terracross for 12" wheel

I have them for the 14" wheel, but it's pretty much the same thing. Onto your questions.

1) Not sure how deep the lug is new...I bought mine used...
2) Not sure on actual weight, but they weigh MUCH less than BigHorns.
3) I have about 200-300 miles on mine and they haven't shown a single sign of wearing. They've held up great.
4) For small mud pits, they're awesome. My dad has Mud Lites and I have gone EVERYWHERE he has gone and more. Haven't had them in the snow yet (least snowy winter ever!!!) and I hear they're pretty good in the sand.
5) Definitely worth the money. My next set of tires will be these...no questions asked...
6) They run very close to size when inflated properly.
