Tire Sizes and PSI
I am just sorta wondering what everyone else runs in their tires based on size.
mine = 27" Super Lites 7.5psi all around
buddy of mine = 27" Mud Lites 4psi all around
Also is there an advantage of more or less air, or does it depend on situation?

Tire Sizes and PSI
It really depends on ride style and prefference. If you are agressive in the corners you will want to run a bit more air. If you want a softer ride you will want a bit less air. Both the numbers you gave are well within reason. I personally run 5 psi. all the way around in my 27" XTRs as this seems to be a good compromise for my riding style and ride prefference. If you are too soft you will get more sidewall flex and it will feel sloppy in the corners. If you are too high it will dance at higher speeds because the tires balloon and you are running on a smaller patch and a little bump can bounce the tire out of contact with the ground rather than being absorbed by the tire.
Bottom line is, try different pressures and see what you like.

Tire Sizes and PSI
27" Bighorns at 7 psi front and rear. I never would have considered 7 psi, but I had some wobble and size problems at 4-5 psi so I called Maxxis and 7 psi is what they suggest to run them at. And at 7 they are all perfectly sized and have no wobble.
