Default 25" or 26" bighorns?

hi,
i ride in north jersey. very rocky trails. not much mud. have settled on bighorns. was wondering if i should go with the 25's or 26's. dont really need the ground clearance.(dont want it more tippy). dont really want to put extra stress on the brute, but i was thinking that the 26's would protect my wheels better in the rocks since they are wider than the 25's. i am beating the snot out of my stock rims. for now would like to keep stock wheels. any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

I'm running 25's and they measure 26 inches....... they are doing fine, I would just get the 25's

the 25s are bigger than most 26's go 25-10-12 on all four then you can rotate them and they will last even longer

I would buy 26"s. Perfect size for trails and the occasional mud.

I have both. Either one will protect your stock rims better than stock. The 26's are WWAAYY bigger than most 27's of other manufacturers IMO. The price difference might help you decide, as either one will do just fine. I think I paid close to $20 more per corner for the one extra inch.
