spacers

I like the wheels that came on my brute so in stead of buying aftermarket wheels i ordered 1 inch spacers, They came today, I installed them an took a little test ride, I like them brute rides great, stable, Used blue loctight on studs that hold spacers on. There is a cut out on the spacers for the lip on the hubs,Heres a few pics of install, and brute before install and after.

Looks good. Did you take before and after pics of the width? I recently put 1" spacers on my grizzly's 108 wheels, and wow what a difference in stability and looks! I always wanted to try spacers with my stock wheels on the Brute, but ultimately decided on new wheels. The 2012 wheels are a big step up in looks. Who did you buy the spacers from?

No carrier tabs or ring on the wheel side. I won't use a spacer w/o them with stock wheels. I know some say it's not needed but but folks I respect have convinced me not to take a chance. I hope they're wrong and the spacers work out for you.

Yep, as I understand it, the centering tabs is what centers the wheel when using the flat surfaced lug nuts. Without that tab, you are supposed to use the tapered lugs...but you can't on the stock wheels. Hope it works out for you but if you notice some shaking at higher speeds like out of balance wheels...might reconsider.Could always use some aftermarket wheels though...but then..there would be no need for the spacers. Catch 22

the lugs that hold the spacers on are tapered. and the inside of the spacers are cut out just enough to let the lip fit in to center the wheel. and the studs on the spacers are the same as the studs on the hub. pics show what i mean. works well so far.

For a Brute with centering tabs and for use with the OE wheels it should actualy have the recess for the hub tabs to go into like the ones you have but should have a centering hub tabs on the out side so it would be like extending what you have...out. Unless your studs realy fit the holes tightly, there is nothing to center your wheel with those adaptor spacers.

my stock wheels when on the hub had a little play in them, they were not toching the centering tabs. the spacers have the same amount of play.i looked at the wheel where the tabs fit in and there is no sign of them touching the wheel.
