Default breaking axels

do you guys think 29.5" laws will brek axels if you dont jump your quad and ride in low when you hit the mud?

The brutes can and do break axles. It is said that if it can't unload the tork through spining the tires, and it can't slip the belt, then the axles will twist enough to snap especialy with lift kits because the tork isn't even as the axle turns. It peaks and valleys depending on the CV position. Heavier duty axles help, but then if it can't break an axle, the differencial, driveline or beavel is next. So pick your poision. The Brute won't care..the engine is going to turn and if it can't spin the tires or slip the belt, its just going to break the weakest link between the crank and the tires.

I've read that the Brute Force has the strongest stock axles of any ATV on the market. You are much more likely to break a belt than an axle...which imo is better than breaking the latter. On the other hand, my Grizzly has the strongest belt setup on the market, therefore the axles are likely to break first.

Yeah but...tell that to the hundreds of Brute owners that have broken several axles using the same belt.

I'm sure there are a few stories about axles floating around here.

It's not going to matter much if it hooks-up and its in the right position at the wrong time.

Hay, is that you over on MIMB that's done...and selling your Brute? He has the same screen name anyway.

Default 29.5" Outlaws

I pop wheelies and have done plenty of mudding in last 2 years with my Outlaws and just a few days ago found out my a-arm bushings are shot.I have not broke no axles but i am Knocking on wood.Hopefully it doesn't happen soon cause money is tight.

I don't know how you guys can ride hard with big tires and not destroy axles. I only have 26s and have another axle that sounds like it is near breaking, sounds like the same side that broke before, left rear. Front end is clattering, sounded like a spider broke off and got into something else... I am about ready to sell these tires and get some 25s.
