Go with the 29.5's and keep your current tires/wheels for trails.

I don't know all the specifics about the cranks, cams, etc. But I do know if I sink mine I will be going with an 840. Go big or go home.

they say the standard kit put out the same amount of hp as a 840 with out over heating with high compression pistions cam valves and spring brings you up to 90 hp but the 840 most likely will give you more but you would over heat faster that a std size pistion

840 will make more torque at a lower rpm, the the peak HP numbers are close to that of a high compression 750 kit.
