Tire recommendations
Hey guys I just bought an all stock 07 750. Tires are not hotdog skins but are pretty worn. Checking to see what you guys would recommend to go with. I live next to the coast and ride in alot of sand, everyonce in a while I'll take it in some mud and a sandy bottom creek. I am also going to use this quad for hunting season (mixture of sand and mud) as well. One thing that I love about the brute is the power, so I'm trying to find a fairly light tire too. I'd like to go with a 26 or 27" tire if possible. I've researched a few but need some other opinions. Which one would you recommend for me and where should I buy them?
Oh yeah, I'm running stock rims. Thanks

The best all around tire I believe is the Maxxis Bighorns. I have them on my Brute and i have been through snow, light mud, wet sand and just regular dirt they handled everything with ease. They handle great and they ride smoother because they are radials. I may be a little partial but i love them and they look great. If your not going to get after market rims then i would go with the Bighorn 2.0 Hope this helps you a little in your decision. Good Luck

Yup, the bighorn 2.0s may be the best for you and the lightest. There are also the regular bighorns, Terracross, Grim Reapers, XTRs are all good all around tires.

I'd also say the big horn..seems to be extremly popular in thoes conditions. Im thinkin more and more I might just go with big horns next on mine, in a 26" size

The forum has spoken!!!! Haha sounds like I need to invest my money with maxxis. Appreciate the feedback guys. I'm going to start pricing around on the big horns, I also like the way the XTRs look. Might research those as well. Thanks again

Check with Dick's ATV. They are a sponsor here and they have the best prices I have seen anywhere. Talk to Mike.

Appreciate the info guys. One last question, how are the Artrax CTX tires? I've found them for roughly $60 each and they look very similar too the big horn.....but $40 cheaper. Too bad they dont make them in a 26 or 27.

If you want to save some money take a look at what I am running. GBC Dirt Commanders. I have gone through mud, hard pack ,snow and ice with no hesitation. Smooth running and they are an 8 ply tire that is not heavy. Tire runs true to its size.
