How are the Pirelli Mudwiser? I hate to sound cheap but I'm trying to find some decent tires for a good deal. Found the 27" mudwisers on Dennis Kirk for $50 each. Too me $200 for a complete set is a steal, can't seem to find any reviews though.
Edit: Would a 12" tire be too wide for the stock rear wheel?

I have no info on the Mudwisers. Probably OK. On the 12" tires on the stock rims, I strongly feel that 10' wide tires is the max on 7" rims although people still do put wider on. The beeds will not set correctly but if that doesn't matter and the tread surface being arked is Ok, then so be it.
Sometimes...for piece of mind...its worth spending a little extra. I just spend 745 bucks on a set of the toughest 8-ply, 11" wide radial tires I could find on 14x8" rims...just for that peace of mind.

Yeah I was thinking that the rim would be to narrow for such a wide tire. The only reason I thought about the mudwiser is bc they are really cheap and they will last long enough for me to make up my mind on a nice rim/tire combo in about a year. Started looking on Dennis Kirk and found out they have the mudwiser in 27x10x12. Sorry for all the questions but could I run 27x10x12 on all four corners? I'd feel alot better to run a tire that will wear correctly.

That's the size I run on all four corners but they are Swamplites.

I guess so. I run 26x11x14s on all four corners and Slumlord has 27x10s so...yeah.

Think i'll just order the 27x10s for all four, they are only $200 and if I don't like them I'll sell the set.

I have a question. My stock rims are up in the attic in the shop so I can't check, but are the fronts the same as the backs? For some reason...something is telling me there is a difference...in offset or width...something. Does anyone know?

From what i read on other online sources, fronts and rears are identical.
