Default swamplites or duro power grips

I been looking at getting a different set of tires since i hear the stock dunlops arent the greatest. I hear alot of talk about big horns, terra cross, and swamplites. i rarely ride in the mud, and if i do it isnt deep. i mainly ride trailes and crawl over logs, and stumps. i also see a company called duro that makes power grips which are similiar in design to that of the more expensive bighorn.
swamplites look like a nice tire also. im stuck between choosing between the power grip or the swamplite? :hmm:

any advice from anyone running these tires which one they would perfer?

thanks

Yeah a lot goes into that decision. I say don't be in a hurry. Take your time and write down the type of stuff you mostly do, then go on to these forums and read the write ups as well as do web searches on write ups as well. There is Mud tires, Trail tires and all tourain...all different sizes and plys. All designed for different riding. There is a tire out there that will fit your need perfectly. The trick is to find the right one the first time.

I run swamplites and i really like them. i dont mud ride, but alot of trails and rock, and snow. they are awesome tires for the terrain around here. Im pretty hard on these tires, and i dont really think they wear fast like everyone seems to think. I run them at 2psi front, and 1psi in the rear and they take me everyware

I also run and love my swamplites! I also ride hard pack, trails, sand, mud, water, and a little pavement. They perform excellent in every thing I got around here. Only thing I can't comment on is snow! don't get much down here but I can't imagine that snow would give them any problem at all. I am sold on them...

Thanks for all the replies!
after doing alot of reasearch after the last few days, i think im going to go with the swamp lites. They seem to be better suited for the terrain i ride up here in minnesota. im sure they will have to work alot better then the dunlops.
they are also alot cheaper. i will ordert them from chapparell

Before you order Swamplites, take a look at the new Interco Reptile. It's a radial version of the the Swamplites.

I ran the swamplites on my Arctic Cat and my Brute I agree with the above statements. Great all around tire and real good in the snow. You will not regret it.
