Took it for a little run today. I expected it to be a beast and not handle the soft sand as good as the xtrs, but I was pleasantly supprised. In two wheel drive it climbed just as good as the xtrs in two wheel drive, but in four wheel drive...watch f'n out..and hang on.. those front bad boys grab and pulled the Brute over the top of anything where the front xtrs were more just helping out the rears. In 2wd it steered just as easy as with the other tires, and was way better on tight trails. It seams to actualy turn faster and sharper and as long as the tires are on the ground, it reacts to bar input quicker. Now in 4wd you feel it way more. No more forgetting its in 4wd, cause it is harder to steer. No bump steer though. Stabilizer might have something to do with that and being radials too. Nice ride too. Way smoother. I'm running 4lbs in the back and 4.5 in the front.
And one of the best parts...took it out on the road and opened it up. NO wobble!!! None.... Smooth as my Cadi at 65. That alone made my day.
Overall, I was happy with them. I half expected to be calling Mike and ordering a set of 10s for the front, but I am very OK with these.

I know when I went form swampites to the commanders there was an incredible difference in ride quality on hard pack and the road. As you stated the wobble went away and the ride smoothed out.

IslandBrute, what are the sizes on your tires and wheels, 26x9x14 and 26x11x14? and is that a SRA bike? looks like the rear wheels have a different offset.
