I think they look pretty good considering the choices you are dealing with.

Yeah...its a tough one. To get the 26x10s I want, I have to put them on a 14" wheel...well I already have a good 14x8..and they are all the same. Because I still have 95% of the tread left on these XTRs, I wanted to keep them on these rims for when we go to places with way more sand, water & mud but have a whole extra set of super trail tires...a little smaller to cut weight and increase performance and all 10s so I could rotate them and power slide even better. I could get the 12" rattlesnakes, but then I would have to go with the 25x10s. Hard to drop back that far expecialy when one of the reasons I went to 27s was I needed more ground clearance. But I have these new skid plates now...so maybe it won't be so bad.....Naaaa better get a set of 14" rattlesnakes and get the 26s I want...right?

I have 12" Rattlesnakes on my Prairie. They are a pretty rugged rim and I think they look great as well. So many choices and only so many $$ to spend..... Tough dilema

Well I took my own advice and got what I wanted. I wanted 8" wheels but Douglas doesn't have any but ITP does in the 14s so...I talked to Mike at Dick's ATV, and he set me up with a slamm'n deal on
4- 26x10x14 Bajacross mounted on 4- 14x8 SS112s with the 5+3 offset, delivered to my front door with all lugs for 745.00. That's better then anything I could find on the net anywhere...and I have been looking for a while now. So, I got exactly what I wanted and I might keep the XTRs and Visions for muddy trips or put them on Craig's list along with that snow plow I haven't used for three years now.
Mike says I'll have these in a week. I'll post some picks then.
Thanks guys. I vented, you listened, and told me what I should have known in the first place...which is "GET WHAT YOU WANT" nothing else will ever do.

I think you make a wise choice with the 14's and the tires. I love the profile of those tires.
On non-wet brake machines with disc brake rotors, the 14" rims will allow rocks and such fall out easier from between your disc and rim. With 12's...debris (rocks, snow, ice, mud, sticks, and whatever) tumble around in there more which will do a number on the rims finish in that area.
