I need help!!! Been tryin to decide between the two for about 2 weeks now. I know they are really two different types of tires. I guess my big question is how well do the bighorns do in the mud. I don't go in the real deep stuff but if i see a good hole im not gonna go around it. I don't want to be stuck in the light to moderate stuff! Also how are the zillas for just normal trail riding (how smooth)? How long they lasting? I do ride on the road a good bit to get from trail to trail. Opinions on both would be nice... pros and cons

I've got bighorn 2.0s. They ride real nice, they do well in light/moderate mud.....all around good trail tire....can't speak for the zillas

Just by looking at the tread and response to the zillas from other sites they are real good in the mud. However I have been told by Mike at Dicks ATV that the compund is soft and they wear quick. The 2.0's are durable and a great all around trail tire. I run the Dirt Commnaders and will say they do the job in the mud and in water up to about 2 feet. I have no regrets. Tread pattern similiar to 2.0's.

I have both sets of tires. 27'' zillas and 25'' bighorns.

Bighorn Pros:Radial, tough carcus, VERY smooth riding, Wear like iron, they run big my 25's are almost 26s etc..etc..
Bighorn Cons:HEAVY tires, In the thicker mud they can slick up on you.

Zillas Pros:VERY LIGHT TIRE, ride very smooth on hardpack for a "mud" tire, will hold there own in mud.
Zillas Cons:Wear quicker than expected, they run short my 27s are a half inch short, not a tough as bighrons.

What sizes are you looking at getting?

I don't see why not. I haven't read anything saying they are not as rugged.
