lol, this is true. however my old XTR's hooked up better than anything I have ever run..I think I may need to sell my swamps and get more of them! it is kind of fun rolling slow on pavement, cracking the throttle wide open, and having the tire smoke POUR out of the fenders hehe[/b]
Pics or video or it didn't happen.LOL

I like the way my XTRs hook-up going forward but man...just try to back up a little slope and ...nothing...have to put it in 4wd every time. These are so..one directional. Next ones will be bi-directional for sure. I have neem looking at the terras and the BigHorns, but one other ITP tire cought my eye. The Bajacross. 8 ply bi-directional radial with stepped tread and I think I can get them in a 10" wide for 14" rims. Not a mud tire, but for me up here...no mud...lots of rocks, sand & hard pack.. hell, might be just the ticket for me. Can't get a report on them because it looks like no one's bought a set that's on KC.
They look like they would be a pretty good trail tire.

Smoke pouring out of your fenders!!! That I'd pay to see that. Gota be a cool thing to watch.

I will get video of it when I get off my arse and buy the helmet cam that I've been wanting for months LOL

I know a guy that is running the new bajacross tires on his POO 800. I ride with him quite a bit actually. The tires seem to go pretty good, they are great on rock, and on forest roads, he seems to struggle on uphill trails where the tree roots are showing, and he gets stuck in mud lots. I think they would be the ticket for you since you have no mud to worry about.

Hmmm...I do a lot of soft uphill stuff and once in a great while get into some mud...maybe not the right tire afterall. Real used to these xtrs going about anywhere.

I'm spoiled on radials. I'll never buy anything but again. I gota wear-out these xtrs before I can try another type. That's going to take a while.

Ya they seem to last a long time. I know I had just over 2000km on my xtr's and the rears were still probly 70-75% and the fronts were 90%. Im tempted to get thoes again, but part of me wants to try the big horn or a terra

I don't know how to post pics yet, but I just installed 26" Bighorn 2.0's on 12" ITP 112's. They look awesome. I've not got any real trail time yet but on first impression, they are great. The perfect trail tire for me.
