Anybody have an opinion on the GBC Dirt Devil II? Read some pretty favorable things about them but no would rather talk with someone that has had real world experiance.

And do any of the sponsers on here sell GBC tires?

Cheers
Bill

Dick's ATV sells them.

I am not crazy about the tires. We got a few sets in and they were out of round. On a balance machine they posed a 3/4" run out. a 26" tire actually ran 24 7/8". They would dig great, and are a good looking tire.

Thanks ONROPE.
Don't think that would make for a very good ride on some of the trails up here. Looking for a good all around tire that muds really well. You kind of get it all on one ride mud, dunes and rocks. Any opinions on Swamp Lites?

Cheers
Bill

Check out the Highlifter MSTs. The swamp lites are ok, they dig like crazy in sand though and tend to gum up pretty quick when you get in the sticky mud.

NP is spot on about the Interco Swamp Lites. Another negative is that they wear relatively fast. For your style of riding, have you considered the ITP XTR's? The Bighorns do great on rock and such, not bad in the mud, just watch the off camber/muddy sloping situations.

I was looking at the ITP XTRs. From what I have seen it looks like you love them or hate them. Local shop here swears by them. I'm sure they have to do a much better job then stock?

I think that out of every tire that I have been privileged to use, I always fall back on the ITP 589. It is tough, wears great and does well in 90% of the terrain. Take it a step further and runf the Essex Surefoot. There have Kevlar sidewalls, a deep rim guard and are able to run flat. They are heavier, but with a V-twin you don't notice it.

Has anyone tried the Interco Reptile? It looks like it has a basic V pattern like a mud tire but the bars are wavey for more bite kind of like the SwampLites. It might be a good combination tire if it wears ok. I just haven't seen it around until recently.
