i dunno why you guys want EFI. it would give up a lot of what we like about the brutes. they can be made powerful, but if they are not strong enough stock, too bad. you won't be able to do much about it. bigger cams won't do much with out a longer duration shot of fuel. and if they are made lean for whatever reason, (emmisions, low end lag like the KQ) then just live with it. pipes may hurt more than help if the sensors don't read the difference and adjust.

as it is, we can pipe it, add cams and BBK if we want, programmable CDI and when done we can just jet it to make it all work together.

try that with EFI

If we had EFI we could replace a lot of mods with a chip.

EFI no way. Besides, when it comes to true high proformance machines how many efi motors do you really see. example Nascar dose not use EFI. Drag racer dont use EFI.
Any real high proformance motor use Carbs still. With the exeption of a few. Besides every one bragges about how nice efi runns how smoooth it is how well it starts in cold weather, well I like the way the brute idles all most sounds like an old muscel car.
Cold weather starting it not really that bad most of the time unless it is extreamly cold, wear mytruck has trubles starting if its not plugged in. I say give the brute more muscle but do not put efi on it.

You do know that they have to run carbs, its in the rule book. As far as high performance EFI motors, you must not get out often.
