Now that I think about it the belt light blinked once and that was it. So maybe it's a belt. I hopeing and preying that that's all it can be. Bc like I said the bike starts up fine it's just knocking and not going anywer

More often then you would think, the belt starts slipping not on the primary, but on the secondary because the load is greater then the spring can bare pressure against the belt. The stronger the spring, the more it takes to seperate the clutch halfs and that means pressure against the edges. Anyway it lost grip and started smoking. The primary has some fins on the back that acts like a fan pulling air in the intake and pushing it out the exhaust. Just vented the burning belt. If you were to keep it, I suggest a stouter spring if you are gount to keep pulling people out...that is...lol. Be sure the switch is put back in the ON position and if the light does come on, just reset it.

I will look at it this afternoon. So it can smoke like that and still ride for alittle while then just stop

Well I pulled the cover off and checked it the belt looks fine but I dnt kno if it's suppose to be that loose. But now my bike is smoking white so I am going find the guy this week that wrkd on it

Man it's basicly my life story I'm always getting left up the creek without a paddle. Man I hate to say this but with everything going on I'm going into a depression.
