Last year I got a Federal ticket for intent to ride on the highway ....I was less than 500 feet from my own property. My land borders the Daniel Boone National Forest so I have to deal with the feds a lot. The worst part, I was a passenger on the Brute! It was a $75 fine. I didn't fuss much because if they had searched my rack bags it would have been much worse. I could have probably beaten it if I'd went to court, but it would have cost me more than $75 to miss a days work.
Gus, I really like the wind screen/box...that's perfect for your type of riding. Is it easily removable?

Yes,you can remove it in 5 minutes! It holds from the rack from 4 points with some "pins" i do not know how to call them in the shape of a U and it screws with 2 "butterflies" each...I hope you understand how i mean it.....i lack a little in mechanichal terminology......

They were running a training exercise, 5 ferderal officers and a canine unit surrounded me. Yes, the ticket was for intent to ride on a public road and I was the passenger! If you get stopped by the feds here, you will get a ticket for something. The state boys will usually let you by with a warning. Most of the time I hit the woods and loose them. This particular time I didn't have a choice.
Again, sorry for the thread hijack.

I like it. The windshield is a must if you are riding the road all the time. The fact that you can combine it with the storage is great.
